Oscar Preview Party

Rooster Hill is rolling out the red carpet for an award winning, Hollywood-style pre-Oscar party.  Guests should try to outdress the Hollywood crowd or wear the costume of their favorite movie star's famous role. 

The best dressed party goers will step up to the podium and receive Rooscars in several categories including Classiest, Funkiest and Most Outrageous.  

The stars of the show will be Rooster Hill's award winning wines which have won more gold than Gone With the Wind.  Supporting roles will be played by movie themed appetizers, and movie trivia as well as name that movie tune. 

The curtain rises at 1 pm.  Enjoy the show.

Twilight Tasting - Chardonnay
Wednesday June 2, 2010 from 7 - 9 pm

Join the Rooster Hill team for a comparative tasting of Chardonnays from around the world.  Learn to distinguish subtle characteristics about each style of wine and region.  Sample Chardonnays aged in French oak, American oak or stainless steel.  Enjoy a buffet dinner on the terrace and drink in the view of Keuka Lake.

Join the Rooster Hill team and sample Rieslings from around the world.  Taste Rieslings from Germany, Austria, Washington State and the Finger Lakes.  Learn about terroir and its impact on the style of wines produced from each region.  Enjoy a buffet dinner on the terrace following the tasting and meet new friends and rub elbows with Rooster Hill's winemaker, Barry Tortolon.

3rd Annual Pig Roast

Wine club  members are invited to a festive summer picnic with all the trimmings.  Get a sneak preview on the 2009 red vintages and enjoy music on the terrace and under the tent.

Holidays on the Hill

Start your sleigh and come over the hill and through the vineyards to join us for an old-fashioned, vintage Christmas celebration.  The halls of Rooster Hill will be decked out in nostalgia, with holiday decorations, vintage games, candy, toys and more of days gone by.  Come savor the season with food, music, prizes and of course...Rooster Hill wine!
