Rooster Hill Vineyards Announces 2005 Twilight Tasting Schedule

Penn Yan, NY, April 2005— Rooster Hill Vineyards is excited to announce this season's line up of Twilight Tasting and Wine Workshops. Join Rooster Hill Vineyards winemaker Barry Tortolon and guest speaker Rob Bourdelais for Magical Meritage April 29, Captivating Cabernet Sauvignon May 28, Tempting Traminette and Gewurztraminer June 10, Riveting Riesling July 22, Chasing Chardonnay on August 19 and Confident Cabernet Franc on September 1.

Twilight Tastings are held from 7 - 9 pm in the Rooster Hill tasting room in April and May. As it gets warmer and the weather cooperates, the Twilight Tastings will be held on the new creek stone terrace where guests sip wines and watch the sun dip into the western sky over beautiful Keuka Lake. During the evening you will sample 10 - 12 wines from around the world followed by a light buffet hand selected by chef consultants to compliment the wines. This intimate gathering is a great way to meet new friends, increase your wine knowledge and enjoy breathtaking views of Keuka Lake.

Tortolon Finger Lakes born and California trained, has over 25 years experience in winemaking and has already won a number of prestigious medals in international competitions. Bourdelais is extremely well educated in wines and the different wine making processes throughout the world. Both bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to the workshop.
